The Global Resilience Institute is hosting a community resilience research flash talks and networking event on Monday November 6th, 2017 12-2pm (lunch provided). The event will feature a series of short 4-minute flash talks by individual researchers highlighting their research related to community resilience. The presentations will be interspersed with time for networking and informal discussions so that new connections can be made and new ideas can emerge. The goal of the event is to showcase the breadth and diversity of community resilience research across campus and also to make new connections, explore new ideas, and catalyze new collaborations.
All Northeastern researchers interested in presenting a flash talk (the 4-minute time-limit will be strictly enforced) are invited to send an email to GRI Associate Director Jennie Stephens (firstname.lastname@example.org) before 5pm on October 13th with a title and two sentence description of the proposed flash talk. A limited number of presentation slots are available; researchers will be notified of the flash talk selection results by October 20th.
