Bolstering our digital resilience amid more powerful and more frequent disruptive events was the subject of a one-hour roundtable hosted Wednesday by News Deeply at the United Nations Foundation headquarters. Global Resilience Institute CTO Mark Patterson joined leaders from Datto, The Weather Channel, Cisco TacOps and UNICEF for the discussion.
“This is the age of the empowered neighborhood, the mesh network…this is a very exciting time to try and enhance digital resilience and preserve connectivity that we all rely on,” said Patterson. He added, “The thing that I would like to see…to increase our resilience in this age of digital connectivity, is to leverage the altruistic traits that all societies have, in more powerful ways.”
