N-Core

N-CORE members present research on lithium ion batteries, autonomous cyber physical systems, and data visualization

NCORE meeting July 12 2018More than a dozen researchers from the School of Engineering, School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, Computer Science, CAMD, Architecture, College of Social Science and Humanities convened for a monthly meeting of the Northeastern Collaborative on Resilience Energy (N-CORE) on July 12.

N-CORE members Sanjeev Mukerjee (Professor, COS), Aanjhan Ranganathan (Assistant Professor, CCIS), and Michelle Laboy (Assistant Professor, CAMD) each presented to the group on topics including solar and wind energy, lithium ion battery research, security of autonomous cyber physical systems,  life cycle assessment and visualization. Given the diversity of energy research expertise at Northeastern, N-CORE is well-positioned to develop large, new collaborations and novel transdisciplinary research proposals.

The N-CORE team meets monthly throughout the year, with the next scheduled for August 22. Faculty, students or staff interested in attending can email Jennie Stephens (j.stephens@northeastern.edu).
