Combined Heat and Power: Enabling Resilient Energy Infrastructure for Critical Facilities
This paper looks at the risk that critical infrastructure faces when power or heating services are lost in the United States, and advocates for dedicated combined heat and power services to help mitigate the impact of a loss of power or heat to critical infrastructure. This paper analyzes specific examples in order to see how they would function, as well as how a combined heat and power system should function in the real world.
