Co-op Opportunities at GRI

The Global Resilience Institute’s co-op program is an experiential learning opportunity that allows students at the undergraduate and graduate level to work on an interdisciplinary team of researchers seeking to solve complex resilience challenges. GRI co-ops not only provide critical support for the Institute’s mission, but also get practical training in the skills needed for a career in resilience, including research and writing, critical thinking, and collaborating with experts from all fields of study. The Global Resilience Institute also offers the same learning opportunities through part-time research positions for students currently enrolled in classes

Throughout the school year, GRI hosts “Brown Bag Educational Lunches” for our student research assistants, co-ops, and the Northeastern community. These lunchtime talks feature our Distinguished Senior Fellows, Distinguished Corporate Partners, or outside practitioners, as they share their expertise and first-hand experience with resilience
