2017 Frontiers in Resilience Symposium
On May 10, 2017, George Mason University and Sandia National Laboratories will present the 2017 Frontiers in Resilience Symposium, an event aimed at developing innovative resilience solutions at the interface of Science Economic and Policy. The Summit will feature thought leaders, practitioners, and researchers in looking at the future of resilience. Attendees will explore resilience at the critical intersections of science and technology, policy and governance, and economics and finance.
GRI Founding Director Stephen Flynn will join speakers Brian J. Moran, Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security, Commonwealth of Virginia; Susan Coller Monarez, DHS Deputy Assistant for Strategy and Policy; David Alderson, Director of the Center for Infrastructure Defense at the Naval Postgraduate School; Adam Rose, a research professor at USC's Sol Price School of Public Policy; Pete Tseronis, Founder and CEO of Dots and Bridges and; Susan Ginsberg, Principle, U.S. Civil Security, LLC.
