Following the success of its Annual Summit in the past, the Global Resilience Research Network, founded by GRI, will be bringing its 3rd Annual Global Resilience Research Network Summit “Organising for Resilience After the Point of No Return“ to Melbourne, Australia. Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), School of Property, Construction, and Project Management, a GRRN Partner, will be hosting the summit on November 11-13, 2020.
The GRRN Summit will bring together leading resilience experts from over 30 major universities and research institutions from around the world. The goal of the annual summit is to provide a forum where GRRN members can gather each year to learn from renowned thinkers and practitioners, showcase the results of their research and educational efforts, and generate new collaborative research ideas and project teams. We look forward to interdisciplinary discussions at an in-person gathering but are also preparing a flexible format to enable online participation and have plans in place to transition to a fully virtual summit should the COVID-19 pandemic disrupt opportunities for large gatherings and travel into November.
