Northeastern University in Seattle and Northeastern College of Social Science and Humanities is hosting a MS in Urban Informatics Info Session and Faculty lecture, ‘A Data-Support System for Communities in a Pandemic’. Dan O’Brien, PhD will speak about the efforts of the Boston Area Research Initiative coordinating multiple data sources to understand how the pandemic has hit the diverse range of communities in the city. He’ll also provide guidance to policy and practice partners on a range of topics, from social distancing to economic disparities to housing and evictions to vaccination.
