Ted Landsmark headshotFaculty Affiliate Ted Landsmark, Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and the Director of the Kitty and Michael Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy at Northeastern University, has a long and storied career advancing initiatives at public and private institutions focused on social justice and the intersections of policy, design, and higher-education. His research areas of interest include diversity in design, environmental design, community-based economic development, historic preservation, and more. His efforts to advance a more diverse and equitable world have been impactful in many local, state and national programs and initiatives, including as President of Boston Architectural College as trustee of the Design Futures Council.
