DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, May 26th at 11:30 AM ET\, Dr. Landsmark joins Dr. S. Atyia Martin\, CEO and Founder of All Aces\, Inc.\, on Intentionally Act Live for a discussion on the role of built-environments and communities as factors that influence the advancement of a more diverse\, equitable and inclusive world. “Complacency is the enemy of change\,” Dr. Landsmark wrote – and the opportunities to create a world where everyone’s full humanity is acknowledged are bountiful and numerous. \n  \nAbout the Speakers: \nFaculty Affiliate Ted Landsmark\, Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and the Director of the Kitty and Michael Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy at Northeastern University\, has a long and storied career advancing initiatives at public and private institutions focused on social justice and the intersections of policy\, design\, and higher-education. His research areas of interest include diversity in design\, environmental design\, community-based economic development\, historic preservation\, and more. His efforts to advance a more diverse and equitable world have been impactful in many local\, state and national programs and initiatives\, including as President of Boston Architectural College as trustee of the Design Futures Council. \n  \n  \nDistinguished Senior Fellow Atyia Martin is the CEO and Founder of All Aces\, Inc.\, an alternative to traditional diversity\, equity\, and inclusion consulting firms. Dr. Martin and her team partner with businesses\, nonprofits\, and government on organizational\, professional\, and personal development that advances racial equity and builds resilience. Her personal mission is to unleash the invisible power that every person and organization has to intentionally act to disrupt oppression.
