Confronting Inequality and Economic Mobility: Data-Driven Lessons From Boston, For Boston
BARI’s Spring Conference 2018
Rising income inequality and decreasing economic mobility have become some of the most pressing issues facing cities today, touching all aspects of urban life, from education and health to transportation and housing. Boston is no exception, with stark disparities in opportunity and outcomes across demographic groups. Confronting Inequality and Economic Mobility: Data-Driven Lessons from Boston, for Boston will explore how the region can be a leader in dealing with this challenge--examining inequality and its consequences, but also ways to increase mobility and counteract existing inequities.
Confronting Inequality and Economic Mobility: Data-Driven Lessons from Boston, for Boston, will be hosted at Boston University on April 27th, 2018. Visit the official event website (https://www.northeastern.edu/csshresearch/bostonarearesearchinitiative/baris-spring-conference-2018/) for more updates as speakers and agendas are finalized.
