Global Health in a Changing World
Global Health in a Changing World is a partnership between Bouve, EECD, and NUGHI. It is designed as a symposium for academia and industry, addressing the current challenges in the global health realm. We aim to offer a platform to scholars, industry leaders, students, and Northeastern staff to exchange solutions on talent and research and learn from each other. The variety of sessions will offer knowledge sharing and networking opportunities while celebrating the global identity of Northeastern and our partnerships. The goal is to expose the audience to the latest updates in the industry as well as generate new research initiatives, university collaborations, secure talent pipelines, and expand our network.
The conference will focus on three main themes: Forced Migration, Artificial Intelligence, and Climate Change and their implications to global health. The event will feature Dr. Andreas Pottakis, The Greek Ombudsman, with an honorary appointment to oversee the policies of the Mediterranean ombudsmen of Southern Europe, speaking on critical issues among other renowned experts. The conference will be held on February 7 - 8, 2020.
