Resilience Through Creativity: Global Resilience Institute Art Show
Boston, MA 02115 United States
Due to measures out of our control the Global Resilience Institute has rescheduled the Resilience Art Show to March 15th, 2018. We hope you are available to join us on this new date for what is going to be a very special event.
The Global Resilience Institute (GRI) invites you to attend Resilience Through Creativity, the first installment in a series of events focused on the intersection of Art and Resilience.
This immersive event showcases original works representing creative expressions of individual resilience to a wide array of traumatic events or personal loss. Following an introduction from GRI, The Possible Project -- a youth organization centered on instilling an entrepreneurial mindset -- will give a brief talk on their mission. Additionally, participants will have the option to explore the narrative of Resilience in their lives through engaging in hands-on experience with creative arts. Previous art experience is not necessary.
The event is being hosted in collaboration with Dr. Julia Byers, a GRI Distinguished Senior Fellow and Professor Emerita, Lesley University.
RSVP is required. Email GRI@Northeastern.edu
