TRIP Workshop: Training for Researchers to Inform Policy
The School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs is collaborating with the Scholars Strategy Network to host Training Researchers to Inform Policy, a one day workshop that aims to give researchers of all levels a hands-on introduction to policy engagement.
Participants will learn to:
- Become a trusted resource to policymakers and civic leaders
- Identify opportunities when your research can have the greatest impact on policy
- Choose policy-relevant research questions
- Combine rigor and impact
- Be an effective public scholar in a politicized era
Open to researchers across campus. Space limited. Registration required by April 10th.
This workshop is hosted by the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, and co-sponsored by the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy, the Boston Area Research Initiative, and the Social Impact Lab and the Center for Health Policy and Law.
