GRI Event: Dr. Stephen E. Flynn delivering a lecture on the Global Supply System
Please join us on Monday, November 25, 2019 for a lecture by Dr. Stephen Flynn, GRI’s Founding Director. Dr. Flynn will be discussing the evolution of the Global Supply System and the security threats it might face, as well as share his views on how the risk can be mitigated through a transformative approach to border and cargo security that helps make the supply system more resilient towards future threats.
The event will be held 12 pm – 1 pm at 716 Columbus Avenue.

About the Speaker
Dr. Stephen Flynn is the Founding Director of the Global Resilience Institute at Northeastern University where he leads a major university-wide research initiative to inform and advance societal resilience in the face of growing human-made and naturally-ocurring turbulence. At Northeastern, he is also the Professor of Political Science with faculty affiliations in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the School of Public Policy & Urban Affairs.
