Senior Director, Defense Industrial Base Inititute (DIBI)

Scott Goldstein is the Senior Director for Public Outreach for the Defense Industrial Base Institute (DIBI), where he leads communications, engagement, and strategic outreach efforts to build awareness and mobilize support for DIBI’s mission across industry, government, academia, and the public. He brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation.

Prior to joining DIBI, Scott was a founding partner and Head of Strategy & Business Development at Tremendousness, a boutique communications and design firm. Under his leadership, the firm developed strategic communications and change programs at Fortune 500 companies, top consultancies, and not-for-profit organizations including Amgen, Bain & Company, Cisco Systems, Deloitte, Lowe’s, and the Gates Foundation.

Scott’s career spans roles in marketing and communications, corporate strategy, business development, and program management at organizations including XPLANE, Boost Mobile, Nextel Communications, and Amazon.com. He is recognized for his expertise in translating complex strategies into accessible narratives, driving stakeholder alignment, and designing scalable engagement strategies.

Scott holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in History from Northwestern University. He is a member of the Marine Corps Marathon Runners Club and active in the Washington, D.C. design thinking community.
