Topics: Information Technology and Cybersecurity,

This report evaluates the level to which federal agencies are responding to cyber incidents and how helpful the Department of Homeland Security has been in those efforts. It finds that "twenty-four major federal agencies did not consistently demonstrate that they are effectively responding to cyber incidents (a security breach of a computerized system and information)" (p.
