An Economic Analysis of Transportation Infrastructure Investment
In 2014 the Obama Administration issued this report calling for increased investment in American infrastructure, particularly in the area of transportation. In the report, failing bridges, poor roadways, and struggling transit systems are blamed on a lack of funding for maintenance and improvements. The report claims that the economy as a whole would gain an economic boost from increased infrastructure investment.
