BOATLIFT, An Untold Tale of 9/11 Resilience

This short film tells the story of the 9/11 boatlift, the largest water evacuation in history, where almost 500,000 people were evacuated from Manhattan in less than nine hours. After the fall of the first tower, private and commercial boat owners began picking up fleeing people, prompting a call by the Coast Guard for all available vessels to aid in the evacuation, to which hundreds responded.
