Resilient Food Systems, Resilient Cities: Recommendations for the City of Boston

This document looks at the ability of urban food systems to survive natural disasters by examining the resilience of Boston’s food system. The authors look at the entirety of the food distribution process in order to identify vulnerabilities and recommendations to make the food delivery system in Boston more resilient. It also contrasts Boston's food delivery system to cities with the highest rated food resiliency systems, in order to identify potential areas of improvement.
