This document analyzes potential hazards that Portland may face as a result of natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, or wildfires, by projecting the probability of the events, and the potential damage. It identifies the impact these disasters could have on critical infrastructure, natural resources and people and recommends steps that the city can take to mitigate the damage inflicted in order to facilitate rapid recovery.
