Seismic Lifelines Evaluation, Vulnerability Synthesis, and Identification

This document analyzes key “lifelines,” or critical transportation corridors that would be essential for providing emergency services and facilitating economic recovery, post-disaster. It groups transportation corridors into three tiers based on a variety of factors such as proximity to hospitals or access to utilities. The document then looks at different counties in Oregon and sorts infrastructure in those counties into the tiers. It ends by recommending future steps, such as prioritizing Tier 1 corridors for future improvement projects.
