It’s been a difficult year and a half for people working in healthcare. Hospitals across the country are back in crisis mode with a new wave of serious COVID-19 infections among unvaccinated people. Even before the pandemic, doctors were hitting burnout at a high rate. Northeastern University health policy professor Timothy Hoff has discovered that female physicians are even more at-risk. Hoff is also a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University.
